Default Miscellaneous Ostomy supplies
Has anyone had any success billing Medicare for a miscellaneous ostomy supply using code A4421? I have a patient requesting a special ostomy support/barrier that uses this code. ANY input is appreciated!

Kristi, my boss has billed for ostomy for 20+ years. She said that the A4421 code has not been used since forever and as with the new misc. code it doesn't pay anything. Beryl asks what the special ostomy support/barrier is - maybe she can help. Kathy
