Has anyone heard that there is a 600 unit limit for code B4154?

I have also heard this, but cannot find any actual documentation regarding the limits to eneteral nutrition. I am also having difficulties when billing to Medicare. It seems that I cannot get anything paid for unless I send it back through to redeterminations to show we have all the proper documentation, & DIF to support the pt's frequency & amount of enteral. Any good resources, please pass them on.

We do not charge during the 13 month cap rental since we're responsible for the bed during that time. It's also good to have the company move it rather than the pt's caretakers/ family due to any liabilities which may arise, let alone any damage that could happen......& you never know where that bed may actually be moved to if the company doesn't do it themselves.
