For those of you that do Hospice accounts and are paid on Capitated Rates for the Average Daily Census on the month. What is your definition of the Average Daily Census number that they use for billing? Is it normally all patients that the Hospice provider has for that month no matter if they are using equipment or not? Or is it the Average Daily Census of those patients that are acutually using equipment from you?

We base ours on all patients regardless of whether equipment is placed or not.
