Default A9155 Artificial Saliva

Has anyone ever billed for A9155? There is very little info on NHIC regarding billing, and there is no fee schedule info available. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Yes! The maker of the product is going around looking for pharmacies that are willing to provide this item to patients with Aetna because they tend to reimburse low. That is how I ended up billing for this item. Unfortunately Aetna's reimbursement doesn't even cover our cost. For Caphosol 1 unit = 30 ML and Aetna allows $5.10/unit. I'm not sure how other insurances reimburse since i've only billed Aetna for it and we most likely will not be providing it on a regular basis since it is not cost effective.
