When a physician where he practices is registered as a group does Medicare accept the group NPI #? Example: I have a clinic who has 7 physicians practicing there. Each physician show up not on the PECOS list however the clinic show up as registered with PECOS. Can I just use the group NPI for these physcian? Thanks for any help

It can't be a clinic, must be docs own #...................

.Submit the Type 1 (individual physician's) NPI and name of the
Ordering/Referring Provider. If the Type II (physician's group) NPI and name
is submitted, a match will not be found on the PECOS file.
