Default Commodes

Wanted to see what everyone else is doing in this situation.
Have a person who is short and pleasantly round. Needs a 3n1. What are you doing in this situation if the do not weigh 300lbs and do not fit in Std. BSC?

If she qualifies for the std, I'd offer to do an upgrade to HD.

You could rent her a drop arm commode instead? You could do a free upgrade to a wide commode. It is too much of a pain for us to do a patient requested upgrade - but that is also an option.

I believe we have been successful giving the person a drop arm commode with a hip measurement and explanation in extra narrative.
