Default Trilogy Documentation

Some of our physicians are starting to order Trilogy. I cannont find and LCD for this and am being told by the "SALES REPS" that all is required is a diagnosis of ALS. My experience with Medicare tells me that this is an area that will come back to bite me if I don't get what I need now.

What kind of documentation are others doing this type of business getting up front from the physician?

Thanks,

Sharon

Red face

I tried to Google Trilogy, but couldn't find anything. Pardon my ignorance, but what is it? Thanks!

Look at the LCD for PAP devices. Non Invasive Ventilators are covered under that LCD now. I'd also check PDAC for coding.

Sorry, I should have looked at PDAC before replying. It's a ventilator (not the typical RAD).
