Default 02 contents

Can someone please clarify the contents billing for O2. If the patient has met the 36th mth capped rental for O2 then we can bill for m/s for E1390 or E0431 and bill for the contents...The Qty for contents has to 1 no matter how many tanks they get? I'm so confused!

Yes, 1 unit of service is one month supply of portable oxygen contents. It can only be billed after the portable system has paid for 36 months. You must maintain documentation for delivery of portables at least once every 3 months.

No, you shouldn't bill MS unless you actually have to perform maintenance on the E1390 that is not covered under manufacturers warranty.
