how can i bill for replacement of the battery for the power scooter if patient owned power scooter more than year. What is the hcpc code and modifier. do I need to have prescription from the doctor for repair and replacing the battery?

you can bill for Batteries and 2 units of labor (k0739 - labor per 15 min). the HCPC for batteries depends on the type of battery the POV requires.

have you billed for replacement batteries? I do it on a weekly basis and in Region B you must have RB unless it is A New chair you are delivering.
