What Items are considered "taxable" when billing Medicare? My understanding was that Beds, Commodes, trapeze, hoyer were all taxable items even with an RX. Is this correct information?
The taxability will depend on your state laws. The only reference in the Medicare regulations states that any applicable taxes are included in the allowable amount.
