Medicare Secondary Oxygen Claim
When an oxygen patient has Anthem insurance primary and Medicare secondary, what happens when Medicare caps and Anthem continues to process the claim? If the oxygen goes towards the patient's deductible, are we required to write off the secondary portion or can we bill the patient? Just doesn't seem right that even though Medicare caps the patient's deductible can accumulate?
