Reconsideration Delay

Has anyone received a notice from River Trust that they will not be able to to make a decision within the 60 day time frame and if so, which option did you choose? I'm not crazy about either one... keeping it with them or escalating to an ALJ right away - thus giving them an extra 180 days!
