We have been having a problem with Humana Medicare plans when billing for supplies, primarily CPAP supplies. We use the same codes/modifiers that we use for "real" Medicare, but we receive error messages indicating "improper modifier use." We are unable to obtain any help from Humana. Is anyone else encountering this problem?

We can't bill ANYTHING as the primary supplier in our area is Apria.
