Question Brightree question re: 13 month rental

For those of you familiar with Brightree: I have had this ongoing issue, and have been unable to get a straight answer from Brightree as to how to correctly handle this situation. The problem is for patients that have equipment with a 13 month rental. The patient goes into the hospital, and we receive a denial from Medicare. Brightree says to create Pick Up ticket when they go into the hospital, but not confirm it. Then you can change the initial date of service and it will allow you to bill for an additional month or however long. The problem is that we rarely know when they go into the hospital. We don't find out until we get a recoup request or a denial from Medicare. We can't change the Initial date of service, because it still pulls from the original pricing table with the original 13 months. How can we create the new month's invoice without having to adjust inventory, create a new sales order, etc? Does anyone have a solution? Sorry for the length of this!

We usually change the initial date and recalculate to the proper month. The only other option you would have is to do a sales order initial load... Although I'm not sure how that would work with the inventory system.
