Replacement slings for hoyer lift

Does anyone know the time frame in which a patient may receive a new sling? We billed one in April 2009, and in Dec 2010. The December one was denied as same/similar, Medicare will not cover this level of service. Now the patient is requesting a new one. Any ideas are most welcome! Thanks!
