Default Date Spanning question

We have always date spanned our enteral products, I recently went to a Medicare billing workshop where they reinforced doing this. But now when I get back to work I have been told we no longer ned to. Can someone please direct me to where it states in writing this policy. Thanks

Sorry, but I get date span denials for enterals all the time, if I don't double check before they transmit.
