Default Disclosure of cost to beneficiary

I know it is an accreditation standard that a DME must provide cost information to the customer. But does anyone know where this is in writing? Thanks

I know this is old but I was looking for posts on another matter and thought you might still want the info. Our surveyor for our accreditation was going to site us for this issue. I didn't want to do it as that would cause so much more confusion for many patients. I was able to prove that Medicare only requires that we advise the bene. of THEIR financial obligations prior to delivery so we didn't have to make the change!
