Default Custom Orthotics

We are considering doing custom orthotics, mostly knee braces. Is it a requirement that we have an Orthotist on staff or can we purchase the already customized brace from the manufacturer to eliminate the need for the staffed position? Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks

Check with your state. CMS says supplier has to meet state guidelines on
licensing. In my state we would have to have a licensed orthotist on staff.

Thanks for the info! I've determined that we would need a licensed orthotist, but is there a required state orthotics license?
