REIMBURSEMENT MANAGER
Reimbursement Concepts
Responsible for managing all aspects of the reimbursement department including the timely, accurate submission and collection of all patient and customer accounts. Ensures that all payers are set up correctly within the software system. Complies with all company reimbursement and corporate compliance policies. Is responsible for the timely completion of all reports and processes as required. Has responsibility for meeting cash and DSO goals as established by the Company. Speaks knowledgeably of the scope of services that are available through the Company. Works with the reimbursement department in order to manage the entire reimbursement process, from insurance verification to final collection. Maintains bad debt at or below 2%. High volume Infusion therapy with DME.
Relocation available for the correct candidate.
Qualifications:
2 years experience in a management role
3 years healthcare billing experience
Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care reimbursement guidelines.
Intermediate competency with Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to interact with payer representatives
Ability to handle stress and meet deadlines
Minimal travel requirements
