Default Billing Reps Question

What is the going rate out there if you are looking for someone who has atleast two years experience and it is specific to Brightree? Trying to get an idea of what everyone is paying out there for this prior to looking.
Thanks

Jamie,

If I were hiring a billing rep with 2 years experience, honestly, I would probably start them anywhere between 24k - 27k/year at let them know that salary would increase according to job performance.

To me, the software they used means little - lets face it - you can train a monkey to follow the x amount of steps it takes to submit claims from a DME software system. It's a knowledge and understanding of the billing requirements and right/wrong.

Many software applications allow suppliers to "pre-load" modifiers to specific HCPC codes; therefore, is the applicant used to just pressing some buttons and billing claims with KX modifiers already attached OR do they understand that it is their responsibility to verify that the appropriate documentation has been received?

For me, in many instances, it's been easier over the years to train someone with no experience than to break an experienced employee of the "bad habits" they have obtained from other competitors.
