Default Custom insoles

There is a company that is saying that is ok to do custom diabetic inserts on all diabetic shoe patients so they can be mailed. I am afraid of this.

Is there anyone out there that has experience or actual answers.

Also our accreditation person said we are qualified to fit "off the shelf" shoes and inserts and custom are definitely not that.

The way I read the regulations we must fill exactly what the doctor prescribes and there must be documentation on it.
