Default Adding power seating

If we have a Medicare customer with a Group 3 power wheelchair and they now need additional power seat functions on their chair, is a new face2face necessary? Will a LMN from the therapist and a RX from the physician be adequate?

Sandy - I believe that your letter's from the physician/PT will suffice. After all, the PT (at the least) had to see the patient to evaluate and know what changes were needed and a PT eval can serve as the face-to-face.

If you want an exact answer, I would suggest contacting Peggy Walker @ VGM as she is guru of all things power mobility.
