Question Equipment malfunction due to client negligence.

What kind of policies do others have in regard to equipment malfunction due to client negligence, specifically lack of cleanliness. We have several clients, who, despite repeated teaching don't keep filters and vent grills clean, to the point that they become occluded and concentrators overheat and shut down or need repair. What are the options? Thanks.

We have specific concentrators dedicated to these types of homes. We then exchange these units rather than try to get the patient to adhere to the guidelines and education we present. We have two patients that we exchange their equipment every three months. In other words after we exchange their equipment it comes into the shop. There it is thoroughly cleaned and labeled to go back to this patient in three months. So we rotate two machines for these typs of patients.
