How are people handling monthly deliveries for oxygen patients post 36 months - how are you viewing the 3 month supply and making sure billing is correct?
Do you physically do a delivery for each month?
Did you establish what a 3 month supply is and is that different for each patient?
Do you bill a recurring sale?

If you are billing for the 3-month supply you must make a delivery at least once every 3 months. If you are billing monthly then you must make that delivery at least 1x/month.

We are not billing on a recurrent billing as we need to make sure that each patient is serviced at least once during the billing period.

For our patients on either a monthly or 3-month supply - the volume varies for each patient. We cannot predetermine a set 3-month supply amount as Medicare has said that we are still responsible to provided the needed amount of oxygen.

Our current system offers an order scheduling option - we have set our patients up on either weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.. Each week, we print a report of patients due that week and call them. If the patient requires delivery we print the ticket, supply the O2 and bill. If they do not, we cancel that episode of the recurrence.
