our RTs only perform pulse ox testing when setting up oxygen conservers that's it. in the joint commissons's eyes,does this qualify as clinical respiratrory services. yes we do this in the home sometimes

We specifically asked this question to our Joint Commission surveyor and his answer was that a one time conserver titration does not qualify. If repeated test are done then the patient is clinical.
