Default Innovative Brace Seeking Distribution

My company is seeking DME provider's/sales reps who are interested in carrying an innovative AFO brace called the Zero G. The Zero G offloads up to 100% of the foot and ankle and is the only brace on the market that comes close to this type of offloading. If you’re interested in this product or learning more about it please feel free to contact me. I’ve included the website for your review below. Thanks!

How could your cam walker possibly offload 100%? Your relying on muscle mass to suspend the foot...unlike a custom CROW walker which unloads through the bone/ patella tendon. Your design looks like every other walking boot which, if your lucky, will unload 20%. I'm not trying to be critical of your product. But if a company sells a patient your type of orthosis; when it doesn't work and they need a custom CROW walker...the insurance is going to deny it as Same/similar. The patient deserves the best product that will solve their problem. (and is covered by insurance). Again...your product has a place in Orthotics...but not as a "up to 100% offloading) brace.

Mr. Sprouse,
Thank you for taking the time to post a comment and I welcome your thoughts. I forgot I posted this to the website months ago.

Although the Zero G looks like a cam walker, I assure you it is nothing close to it. The inverted cone shape allows for a suspension process as well as a removable donning pad to offload the foot. The Zero G can completely suspend the mid and hind foot, however the forefoot will naturally drop due to gravity. There is no pressure on the patellar tendon at all. We have seen a lot of success with this across the country for patients who have worn this with numerous types of musculoskeletal issues. We also have our custom version of this product which is easier for a patient to don and doff. I agree 100% that the patient deserves the best device on the market for their foot conditions. Unfortunately, when it comes to offloading ulcers, the standard seems to be the utilization of a cam walker, diabetic shoe, or the TCC.

I would be happy to send you additional information on both the custom and prefab version if you'd like to email me at cmccloud@universalmedreps.com.

We also have a bi-monthly webinar we conduct that I can forward you an invite to if you would like to attend.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing form you.

Chris
