Thumbs down World News Piece on Pharmacy Errors

Did anyone see that ABC World News piece on pharmacy errors? I felt it was very poorly done. They should never have shown the young tech who typed the label for the prescription- it is ultimately the pharmacist who is responsible for any drugs dispensed. In fact, the pharmacist on duty is never mentioned in the piece. Disgraceful what they are doing for ratings.

I agree! I work in a small pharmacy and we have a system where there are 3 check stations and the pharmacist always checks everything before it goes out to the patient. They should have put the pharmacist's face up there front and center.
